For a media junkie, there are some thing that anger us beyond belief: really crappy remakes of awesome films, studios that think they know better than the writer and most importantly, the event of your favorite TV shows being sacked or even worse, getting sacked without some kind of closure at the end.
This happens all the time and the more “unusual” the show’s content, the more likely it is to get cancelled. Did you ever watch a Show and thought to yourself that this is too good to be true? well then, I bet ya, that it was cancelled. And once it does, then there is no hope to return. No matter how large and no matter how fanatic the fan base might be, there is at best a 1/1000000 chance to get the studio execs to reconsider.
Apart from Family Guy, where Fox TV’s greed could no longer ignore the DVD sales and apart from the glorious cancellation and reappearance of Futurama, very few Examples come to mind.
Welcome to „TV Series that left too soon- Part 01“.
Let’s start the Eulogy, should we?
